Traditional musician, King Ayisoba says he will not feature a Ghanaian artiste on his song. This, he explained, is because Ghanaian musicians are not known internationally hence, will not add anything substantial to his craft or give his music the needed attention on the international music scenes.
King Ayisoba, who detailed the number of big stages he shared with several international acts, asserted that his craft is bigger than any of the Ghanaian artistes and thus, he will go in for artistes who are as big as he is or even bigger than him so as to boost his career internationally.
The ‘I want to sue you, my father’ hitmaker indicated his desire to collaborate with American rapper and multiple Grammy award winner, Jay-Z as he believes the founder of Roc Nation has what it takes to push his music further on the international scenes.
“If I’m going to work with an artiste, it has to be somebody who will give me the needed mileage. So I will like to work with Jay-Z not a Ghanaian artiste because I have been performing on big international platforms and never met Ghanaian artiste there. I’ve shared same stages with Beyoncé, Stevie Wonder and in Canada, I shared a stage with Snoop Dogg. So if I’m going to feature somebody, it will be somebody who is well known worldwide and not those who are only popular in Ghana here,” he stated on TV3’s Showbiz360
