Disk jockey (DJ) and radio presenter, Andy Dosty has disclosed that he made so much money in his youthful days but could not put the money to good use.
The renowned DJ recounted that while he was growing up, he made a lot of money working as a DJ and a radio presenter thus, earning the name “Dosty”. He, however, did not have any elderly person closed to him who could counsel him on how to effectively manage his finances and as a result, he squandered all the money earned in the early days of his career.
He said although some people tried advising him to stop living lavishly and put the money to good use, he felt they were simply making “noise”.
Andy Dosty added that he only realize the need to manage his finances and not lavish it on unnecessary things when turned age 40.
“Why was I called Dosty man? I was called Andy Dosty because I had a lot of money. I got so much money but I never used it wisely. I had no one to advise me on how to use it. Whoever told me to spend it wisely, I felt the person was making too much noise and was disturbing me until I came to my senses, I can even say at age 40,” he stated.
The radio presenter who is also a rapper said this while advising the youths to make good use of their youthful life. He cautioned them against being misled by the lavished lifestyles of celebrities to engage in deviant acts.
“So it is never too late for you because you are 20, 30 or under 20 years, don’t spend your time on social media following a musician, who does not even know you, sing about things that will drive you crazy and will make or instigate you to fight society or to fight your fellow human and to be writing unnecessary stuff,” he advised.
