Hip-life musician and rapper, Okyeame Kwame says he will not be offended if his wife, Annica Nsiah-Apau cheats on him with another man.

According to the rapper affectionately called Rap Doctor, the relationship and the children he has with his wife are more important than any other thing hence, he will not allow his wife’s infidelity or any inaction of hers to ruin their beautiful union.

He said although they are a married couple, his wife is an adult and has the freewill to do whatever she desires to do without any form of restrictions from him and should be ready to deal with whatever consequences that result from her actions alone thus, he cannot be bothered if she decides to engage in extramarital affairs.

“If my wife finds another man physically attractive and goes to sleep with him, it will not be more important than what we have together. It will not be more important than nurturing two beautiful children together. I will not even be offended to forgive her. Because she is a total different individual. The fact that we love each other doesn’t mean she shouldn’t be herself. She should be herself and deal with the karma that comes out of it. I think that one of the keys things which causes mental health issues in relationship is the concept of attachment. I love Annica to bone, I’m not Annica, she is not me. What she wants to do, she must be able to do it and deal with the consequences that come out of it. Whatever I want to do, I must be able to do,” he stated in an interview on Citi TV’s Upside Down.

Okyeame Kwame argued that it is natural for married women to find other men aside their husbands sexually attractive and may have the urge to get intimate with them. He, however, expects such women to put their marriages above their sexual urges for other men and restrain themselves from engaging in extramarital sex.

But if they fail to exercise restrain thereby cheating in their marriages, he posited, their husbands should leave them to their conscience and karma rather than bothering themselves with emotional trauma.

“I think that we are both reasonable enough to know that a 2 minute sexual orgasm is not important as this thing we have here. It is unreasonable for me to think that I’m the only sexy guy in the whole Ghana, that my wife cannot see someone else and find him attractive and if she is unwise enough to take to the level, that is her action,” he added.

Okyeame Kwame got married to the love of his life in 2009 and they have since become the ideal married couple for many young Ghanaians. They have two children together, a boy and girl.
