Highlife musician and Lynx Entertainment’s signee, Kuami Eugene has accused his label mate, Kidi of denting his image in the public.
Speaking in an interview with JoyNews, the 2020 VGMA’s Artiste of the Year said Kidi has consistently projected him as a bad person who lacks manners and engages in immoral acts while claiming to be the righteous one in the record label.
Kuami Eugene, who subtly chastised Kidi for being a loudmouth and a hypocrite, opined that unlike his label mate, he will not wash Kidi’s dirty linen in the public.
He intimated that while Kidi is going about defaming him and making himself look good in the eyes of the public, he is focused on improving his music career and dominating the showbiz industry with good music.
“Whatever we keep in our basket or in our cupboard, he comes to say in the public what I do. And Kidi actually comes out and make people think that he is the good one, he is the one that is always doing the good things and he is the one that is not chasing the girls. He is the one who is not getting people pregnant. And it always ‘Kuami doesn’t talk well’. But at the end of the day, we are still here, he is a big brother, I admire him so much. I like the fact that he shared his opinion about me but he is the good one. He should keep being the good one and I will focus on the good work,” he stated.
Kuami Eugene said this in response to Kidi’s assertion that he communicates poorly.
Confirming public perception that his label mate lacks communication skills, Kidi disclosed that Kuami Eugene had, in most cases, spoken to him in an offensive manner.
He, however, claimed that he was not bothered by such offensive utterances as he had become accustomed to them but advised Kuami Eugene to employ emotional intelligence when interacting with people particularly his fans.
