Some livid Senior High School final year students have threatened to show President Nana Akufo-Addo the exit if they do not pass their West African Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination.

These were contained in separate videos that have since gone viral on social media showing students register a forceful protest of what they say is strict supervision, unexpected questions and social distancing.

Social media have been inundated with videos of student’s violent protests and verbal attacks on government and school authorities with some vandalizing school property.

“Remember you are also in a final year. So be careful with us. We don’t like what you are doing,” said a male final year student from an unidentified Senior High School.

There have been several reports of violence and assault on invigilators, in a manner that appears coordinated by the rowdy final year students.

There have been widespread condemnation of the actions of the students.

Meanwhile, the Ghanq Education Service has instructed Heads of schools to immediately send home boarding students who engage in such acts and to report all forms of criminality to the Ghana Police Service for investigations to be conducted and punishment meted out where necessary.
