Bolgatanga-based musician, Clement Ayamga known by his stage name, Nambawan  has accused organizers of award schemes in the Upper East Region of dishing out awards to the higher bidders.

In a post on social media, the West Side Entertainment signee alleged that regional award organizers give out awards to artistes who are undeserving of such awards but are ready to pay for them.

Expressing his displeasure about the alleged actions, the ‘nobody’ hitmaker predicted an imminent collapse of wards schemes in the region if organizers do not refrain from such actions.

“Not wishing bad for anyone, not a prophesy but u can mark it somewhere that most of these entertainment schemes organized in this region will fall ‘potoor’ like Olympus. And that’s what happens when you choose money over deserving people . Yes, when u choose to eat immediate seeds  over future plantations.

Participation will fall .Value will fall. Let’s not even talk about standard. This and every blessed year, when u don’t wake up from those your money minded nightmares,” he stated.

This comes after he lost out the chance to represent the Upper East Region at the 3 Music Awards to music group, Rockcity.

The rapper was nominated alongside fast rising musician; Gingsen, Carlingx and the ‘Bongo beer’ hitmakers at the regional level to battle it out for representation of the region in the Next Rated Act category at the 3 Music Awards slated for March 27.

He however failed to make the mark losing to the ‘Bongo beer’ hitmakers.
