Bolgatanga-based musician, Wahidu Adisa better known by his stage name Showbwoy says he is more talented and well branded than Lynx Entertainment’s signee, Kuami Eugene.
According to Showbwoy, Kuami Eugene has only been lucky to have gotten into the limelight and thus, enjoying the fame and airplay, otherwise he is way ahead of the 2020 VGMA Artiste of the Year in terms of talent and brand.
The ‘Juju’ hit maker who has been criticized by industry players in the Upper East Region particularly events organizers over his decision to charge 10,000 Ghana cedis for performance in events said he will charge same amount as Kuami Eugene if they are booked for same show because there is nothing special about the ‘Open Gate’ hit maker.
“If you’re bringing Kuami Eugene for 10K and will also charge 10K. So you should just prepare 20K. Kuami Eugene just blow. I don’t see anything special about him. What is in Kuami Eugene? If they put Kuami Eugene and I on same stage, who will be seen as more talented and well branded? He has gotten the fame, that’s his luck. I’m also struggling to get into the limelight,” he stated in any interaction with fans on social media.
On his demand for 10,000 Ghana cedis before mounting any stage to perform, Showbwoy said his 10,000 Ghana cedis charge is justified because he has invested a lot into his craft and has a huge following which will give any event organizer the needed income.
