The Ghana Football Association Disciplinary Committee is set to to adjudicate a number of cases that have been brought before it.

According to the communications team of the GFA, the committee will sit on Thursday February 11, 2021 to adjudicate cases including the case of Accra Hearts of Oak SC – alleged breach of the GFA COVID-19 Matchday Protocols in their Ghana Premier League Matchday 11 game against Accra Great Olympics at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The GFA have subsequently ordered Accra Hearts of Oak to play the rest of their Ghana Premier League matches behind closed doors

While Accra Hearts of Oak serve the ban, it has been given a quota of only 10 management members at the stadium

The away team was also allowed to present only 10 management members in subsequent games at the Accra sports stadium.

The rest of the pending issues are:

  1. Medeama SC – alleged breach of the GFA COVID-19 Matchday Protocols in their Ghana Premier League Matchday 12 game against Accra Hearts of Oak SC at the Akoon Park, Tarkwa.

The Takwa based club was also giving same sanctions with Accra Hearts of Oak for their COVID 19 breaches. In lieu of these COVID 19 Karela United also fell to a victim and have been sanctioned by the Ghana Football Association pending further actions

  1. Amidaus Professionals: For failing to honour its 2020/21 Division One League matches from Match One till date.
  2. Other cases before the Committee for which Charges have been proffered or invitation have been sent to Parties.

The notice indicated that Respondents could either submit their written Statement of Defence to the Disciplinary Committee on or before Wednesday, February 10, 2021 on or before 5pm or through dc@ghanafa.org.
