Founder and leader of Prophetic Hill Chapel, Prophet Nigel Gaisie has alleged attacks on himself and a sabotage of his church services.
According to Nigel Gaisie, four different groups besieged his church premises on the day after elections and attacked him.
In a post on social media, the pastor also suggested attempts to sabotage his church activities by deliberating cutting power supply to the church premises.
Mr. Gaisie who believes these happenings are efforts to gag him from speaking what he claimed to be the mind of God called a bluff of the alleged perpetrators stating that he will not be intimidated from speaking the “truth”.
“Since morning (on Sunday), ECG has put off the lights at my church premises hence our regular morning service wasn’t aired ON Hill tv. I want to also put it on record that about four different groups came to ATTACK ME on Tuesday at the church premises.
I will remain calm but point be made in that GHANA BELONGS TO ALL OF US. I am a harmless prophet, I ONLY SPEAK THE MIND OF GOD but suffice that GHANA owns all of us the right to protect us equally. The Best Is Yet To Come. NOTTING CAN STOP US FROM SPEAKING THE TRUTH AND JUST THE TRUTH,” he stated in the post.
This comes on the back of prophecy by the pastor predicting a win for the opposition National Democratic Congress’ (NDC) presidential candidate, John Dramani Mahama.
Mr. Gaisie who claimed to be God’s messenger had claimed that although Mr. Mahama would win the polls, the election was going to be rigged in favor of the ruling party urging members of the opposition party to be vigilant.
The Electoral Commission on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 declared president Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) winner of the December polls.
But the opposition NDC and its presidential candidate have rejected the election results alleging that the polls were rigged.
At a press conference a day after the declaration, Flag bearer of the party, John Dramani Mahama described the outcome of the elections as fictionalized results from a flawed election and vowed to deploy all legitimate means to ensure that the declaration is reversed in his favor.
There have since been series of protest some of which are violent by members of the Umbrella party demanding that the NDC and its presidential candidate be declared winners of the 2020 General Elections.
