Controversial musician, Belinda Nana Ekua Amoah popularly known as Mzbel has questioned the motive of Tracey Baokye for allegedly recording a telephone conversation they had about former president John Dramani Mahama.
Reacting to a leaked recorded audio of their conversation about the former president that has since gone viral, Mzbel asserted that Tracey Boakye maliciously recorded the telephone conversation involving Mr. Mahama to smear the reputation of the former president.
She also questioned the timing of the leakage intimating that the leakage of the audio in about two days to the General Elections in which Mr. Mahama is seeking to return to the seat of government is an attempt to dwindle his fortunes in the election.
“If not for evil intent, why record your telephone conversation with someone? Why has the audio only got leaked in just two days to the elections? Why are you that evil?” she questioned.
In the leaked audio which some believe confirms rumors that the married man referred to as ‘Papa No’ over whom the two were engaged in verbal war on social media is former president Mahama, a voice purported to be that of Tracey Boakye is heard in a telephone conversation accusing Mzbel of fabricating messages in her name and sending them to the man in question. She also accused her of controlling the finances of the man identified in the conversation as ‘Mahama’ and flirting with him.
The alleged voice of Tracey Boakye said she saw the messages on the phone of ‘Mahama’ and when she confronted him, he did not deny. She expressed worry about the impending consequences if the wife of the man gets hold of the fabricated messages.
A supposed voice of Mzbel is also heard dismissing the accusations stating that the actress was only bragging to her about the fact that she has access to ‘Mahama’s’ phone and daring Tracey Boakye to sue her if she has incriminating evidence against her as she is claiming.
But Mzbel on Facebook Live dismissed the claims contained in the audio stating that Tracey Boakye only made those claims to feel important. She also dismissed assertion that the two have an amorous relationship with the former president.
