Presidential candidate of the Ghana Union Movement (GUM), Rev. Christian Kwabena Andrews popularly known as Osofo Kyiri Abosom has launched a scathing attack at president Akufo-Addo describing him as the “biggest liar” in Ghana.
Osofo Kyiri Abosom said president Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has not been truthful to the people of Ghana.
According to him, Nana Addo prior to the 2016 Elections made mouth-watering promises but has failed to fulfill those promises after assuming office.
To him, the president’s failure to fulfill the pledges he made to the Ghanaian electorates and on which basis he was elected smacks of deception.
Touching on some of the supposed unfulfilled promises, the GUM’s presidential candidate said Nana Addo who was then flagbearer of the then main opposition party pledged among others to establish factories in all districts across the country, reduce cost of petroleum products and provide every community in the country with potable drinking water. The president and his government, he claimed, have not fulfil any of these promises.
“If you want the biggest liar in this country, it’s Nana Addo. He promised to reduce cost of petrol, he hasn’t fulfilled his promise. He also promised to provide every community with potable drinking water, it has not happened. He, again, promised to establish a factory in every district, it has not happened,” he claimed.
On his prophecy in 2016 that the NPP was ordained by God to rule the country for 4 decades, the Founder and General Overseer of the Life Assembly Center said president Akufo-Addo, just like Donald Trump, president of the United States of America, has incurred the wrath of God as result of his bad leadership hence, God has withdrawn his favors from him and his party.
He believes the defeat of president Donald Trump foreshadows president Akufo-Addo and his party’s defeat.
“Republicans have same colors as the NPP. Both parties share same ideologies and the elephant as their symbol. So, Donald Trump and his Republicans have been voted out, Nana Addo and his party is following suit. We thought God brought Donald Trump to save America but he came and did worst things. This is what is happening in Akufo-Addo’s government, “he said.
In 2016, Osofo Kyiri Abosom who is now aspiring to become the First Gentleman of the land had prophesied that the NPP was going to rule Ghana for forty years.
He had claimed that president Akufo-Addo was going to be elected for two terms and would be succeeded by vice president Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia who would also steer the affairs of the country for another 8 years after which Minister of Trade, Alan Kyeremanten would then take over the governance of the country.
