Former President John Dramani Mahama has showered praises on Member of Parliament for Bolgatanga Central constituency Isaac Adongo for his distinction in matters of finance and economics.
The National Democratic Congress flagbearer who is on a campaign tour of the Upper East region described the Bolgatanga Central Member of Parliament as a one of the best MP’s the party currently has in its fold.
“I want to introduce to you our parliamentary candidate. He is one of the best MP’s in our party. Isaac Adongo is a master when it comes to finance and economics,” Mr. Mahama said while admonishing constituents to vote for him in the December polls.
The former president has in the past publicly hipped praises on the Bolgatanga Central MP who is seeking reelection in the December polls.
Following a widely condemned opinion made by Isaac Adongo on the controversial Agyapa Deal which was subsequently shared on the official social media page of the former president, John Dramani Mahama justified his decision to share the opinion piece which was largely described as being in bad taste.
“I shared an opinion piece by one of our brilliant MP’s Isaac Adongo” he told TV XYZ.
