The newly appointed Lay Chairman of the Wa-Bolgatanga Diocese of the Methodist Church Ghana, Albert Tawia Nyarko, has pledged to execute his role with diligence and dedication.
Mr. Nyarko’s journey with the Methodist Church Ghana began in 1994, and over the years, he has undertaken numerous initiatives to uplift the church’s image at various levels. His tireless efforts have not gone unnoticed, as the church has recognized and honored him for his outstanding contributions.
Prior to his appointment as Lay Chairman, the CEO of Rain-In Shopping Mall was instrumental in assisting the Living Word United Methodist in executing several projects within the Tamale Diocese.
He also played a key role in the roofing of Bawku chapel and Fumbisi chapel, among others. Furthermore, Mr. Nyarko initiated and implemented the concept of self-sustenance, developing the church’s land for public use to generate income for the Ebenezer Society, a group within the church.
As the Methodist Church Ghana continues to grow and expand its reach, Mr. Nyarko’s leadership and expertise will undoubtedly be invaluable assets to the Wa-Bolgatanga Diocese. With his proven track record of dedication and service, the church can expect great things from its newly appointed Lay Chairman.
Speaking to Dreamz News after his induction thanksgiving service at the Ebenezer Methodist Chapel in Bolgatanga Municipality of the Upper East Region on Sunday December 15, 2024, Mr. Albert Tawia Nayrko, expressed excitement and gratitude for the confidence placed in him by the church.
“I am deeply humbled by the church’s decision to entrust me with this new role. I am aware that it comes with immense responsibility, but with God’s guidance, I am committed to discharging my duties diligently,” he stated.
Mr Nayrko therefore called for the collaboration and cooperation of the leadership and members of the church to enable him execute his new role effectively.
