The Upper East Regional Youth Organizer of the Movement for Change, Adongo Joshua Ayine is urging the youth of the region to join forces with Alan Kyerematen, an independent presidential candidate in the upcoming 2024 general elections.

According to Ayine, Kyerematen’s vision for Ghana aligns with the needs of the Upper East Region, particularly in addressing the challenges of unemployment, education, and economic empowerment.

In a statement relesed to the media, the Regional Youth Organizer stated that “Kyerematen promises to transform Ghana’s agriculture sector, with a focus on the five regions of the North, including the Upper East, Upper West, Savanna, Northern, and North East, into the food basket of the country”

This initiative, Mr Ayine emphasized is expected to create jobs, improve food security, and boost the local economy.

Mr. Ayine is confident that Ghanaians will elect Mr. Kyeremanten as president, believing he has the capability to transform Ghana’s fortunes.

Youth unemployment has become a significant burden on Ghana’s youth, and Mr. Ayine trusts that Mr. Kyeremanten has the track record and ability to address this critical issue if elected in the 2024 elections.

He said, as a seasoned politician, Mr. Kyeremanten has expressed his vision for Ghana’s economic transformation, emphasizing the need for industrialization to tackle the country’s unemployment challenges.

He urged the youth to actively participate in peace building programs and initiatives aimed at resolving the Bawku conflict and preventing future violence, especially as Ghana goes to the polls on December 7.

“Young people should promote unity, understanding and collaboration across ethnic and community lines, to encourage dialogue and cooperation for all to benefit,” he added.
