The National Advisory Committee Chairman of the Alliance for Change campaign team, has revealed Alan John Kyerematen’s ambitious plan to transform Northern Ghana into the nation’s food basket.
This vision is a key component of the independent presidential candidate’s Great Transformational Plan (GTP), which aims to empower farmers through soft loans with minimal interest rates.
During a recent visit to the Tindana of Tindonmolgo in the Bolgatanga Municipality of the Upper East Region, Dr. Samari emphasized that Kyerematen’s GTP prioritizes farmer empowerment, recognizing the region’s vast agricultural potential.
This strategic move, according to Dr Samari, is set to catapult Northern Ghana to the forefront of national food production.
Mr Kyerematen’s campaign tour in the Upper East Region has generated significant excitement, with many youth eager to see transformative change.
Dr Samari emphasized that “As a seasoned politician and a transformational leader, Mr Kyerematen brings a wealth of experience to the table, having served as Ghana’s Minister for Trade and Industry and Ambassador to the United States”.
He said, with the GTP, Mr Kyerematen aims to unite Ghanaians and propel the nation toward prosperity.
