The National Youth Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Salam Mustapha has cautioned Ghanaians particularly the youth against entertaining former president John Dramani Mahama’s quest to be made president again.

According to him, the former president’s bid is ill-motivated and a selfish pursuit hence, should not be countenanced.

Salam Mustapha recalled that Mr. Mahama as president demonstrated incompetence and unseriousness on the job, resulting in catastrophic economic situation that pushed many out of job and others into abject poverty.

The NDC Vice-Presidential candidate Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, he said, was also inept and insensitive serving as minister of education.

“This duo portend doom for our country and gloom for the youth who we should be preparing for the fourth industrial revolution,” he stated.

He contended that the NDC and its flagbearer have not put forward any credible policy that could improve the living conditions of especially young people, adding that their quest for power is driven, “greed, personal aggrandizement, face-saving and totally ill-motivated”.

He, therefore, asked the electorates to reject the NDC and vote for the NPP, whose candidate and running-mate have a proven record and have in store policy ideas that will help the youth realize their dreams and aspirations.
