Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has made a bold promise to transform Ghana into a globally competitive nation if elected president.

Addressing students at CK-TEDEM University in Navrongo during his Upper East Regional campaign tour, Bawumia emphasized that his eight-year tenure would be a game-changer for the country.

With a clear vision for Ghana’s future, Bawumia highlighted the limitations of his opponent, John Mahama, who would only have four years to make an impact.

“Mr. Mahama himself admitted that four years is not enough time to make significant changes, but with my eight years, I can implement policies that will put Ghana on a path of prosperity and growth,” Bawumia noted.

Bawumia outlined several innovative policies such as the Ghana Identification Card and the soon to be implemented credit scoring system.

These initiatives among others, he explained, would streamline governance, enhance financial inclusion, and unlock economic opportunities for citizens.

“At the end of my eight years, Ghana will be a very different country. We will be competing with a lot of developed countries, and I want to put Ghana on that progressive path,” He assured.

The NPP flagbearer appealed to the students to vote for him, emphasizing the significance of his eight-year opportunity to lead Ghana. With a proven track record and a clear vision for the future, Bawumia is confident that he can transform Ghana into a beacon of hope and prosperity in Africa.
