Dr. MahamuduJ Bawumia, the presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has dared John Dramani Mahama, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer, to a debate on the economy, saying that he would expose Mahama’s lack of ideas and understanding of the country’s governance and economic management.

Speaking to students at CK-TEDEM University in Navrongo as part of his campaign tour in the Upper East Region, Dr. Bawumia taunted Mahama, saying, “He’s afraid to debate me. I will expose his emptiness in his argument.”

He further ridiculed Mahama’s touted 24-hour economy policy, saying, “He can’t even explain it!”

This is not the first time Dr. Bawumia has called out Mahama for a debate, but the NDC candidate has remained silent, fueling speculation that he’s dodging the challenge.

As the 2024 elections draw near, Dr. Bawumia’s bold dare has set the stage for a thrilling showdown, with Ghanaians eagerly awaiting Mahama’s response.
