The New Patriotic Party (NPP) government has achieved significant development milestones in the Upper East Region, according to presidential candidate Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

Speaking to the Upper East Regional House of Chiefs, Dr. Bawumia highlighted the government’s impressive track record, stating that 631 projects have been completed while 301 are ongoing in the region.

Dr Bawumia stated that, the NPP government has demonstrated its commitment to delivering on its mandate, as he assured that they are ready to continue their development agenda when given the nod in the 2024 general elections.

He said, “We have completed 631 projects in the region, 301 ongoing, 7 health centers completed, 38 CHPS compound completed. 110 classroom blocks, 2 courts, 58 boreholes, 43 water systems and 118 Small dams”

Dr. Bawumia also pledged to prioritize the upgrade of the Upper East Regional Hospital, demonstrating the government’s dedication to enhancing healthcare in the region.
