Mother of Former President Jerry John Rawlings has reportedly died at the age of 101.
Reports say she passed after battling a prolonged illness.
Madam Victoria Agbotui was born on September 9, 1919.
She recently celebrated her 101st birthday with her son, grandchildren and other prominent people in attendance.
The mother of the former Military ruler became known to the Ghanaian people after her son staged a successful coup in 1979.
Camera shy, she was hardly in the news but reportedly had a lot of influence on her son’s career and later his leadership of the country.
