Situated on an 11-acre piece of land in Damolg-Tindongo in the Nabdam District of the Upper East Region, Gibeath Ha-Elohim, which is a blessed property, seeks to redefine life in the community and the Nabdam and could be described as the biggest infrastructural investment in the district by any private individual.
The spiritual center is not only built to promote the work of God, it has been built on the farmland of the late Father of Reverend Eastwood Anaba, in a bid to honor his late father, Pantia Kolog Naab.
The magnificent facility stands out spectacularly in an area dominated by rocks that provides a beautiful landscape and an auditorium for the people of Damolg-Tindongo and beyond to meet for Christian worship, education, and development.
It has a 100-seater Library named after the father of Mrs. Rosemond Anaba, Martin Ofosu Mensah, which is still under construction to be utilized by children in the area.
To successfully manage Gibeath Ha-Elohim property, Gibeath Ha-Elohim Foundation (GIEF), has been formed by Rev. Eastwood Anaba and his wife, Rosemond Anaba to run the affairs of the property and successfully carry out other humanitarian activities in the Upper East Region and beyond.
The Foundation is expected to provide and manage infrastructure including buildings to serve communities, inspire communities to develop a sense of responsibility for their environments through the creation of awareness and practical assistance, and among other things initiate projects and programs for poverty alleviation and intervention in humanitarian crisis.
The Gibeath Ha-Elohim Property seeks enlightenment through the provision of information and education to the people in the form of secular knowledge and the Word of God, providing the atmosphere for prayer, meditation, impartation of the power of the Holy Ghost, providing Godly entertainment to the community and equipping the youth through training with the necessary skills and technological knowledge to engage in meaningful and profitable activities.
With a desire to honor their parents, Rev. Eastwood Anaba and Mrs. Rosemond Anaba, view the project as a way of giving back to the community that made them.
Speaking before the Commissioning, Dr. Mensah Otabil, the Special Guest of Honor prayed for God to raise men and women of value and for the transformation of lives through the project.
He envisioned a future of the Nabdam District which will see the upliftment of people, eradication of poverty, and training professionals to lead change in the area.
“Today we have come to build an outpost of Jehovah God. We have come to build a garrison of God. We have to build God’s barracks and in this place, Pastor Eastwood, may God help you with wisdom and surround you with men and women to hold your hand and empower you to eradicate illiteracy from this land, to eradicate sickness and disease from this land, to eradicate poverty from this land, to bring about social transformation. The next 10- 20 years when we come here may it be green fields, glass flourishing, modern houses, great architectural pieces, and may it be linked to the day this Gibeath Ha-Elohim was established.” He prayed.
In his part, Prophet Dr. Kofi Oduro described the structure as a project of honor.
